Exodus 17:11 (NKJV) And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

Moses holding up his hands is like prayer. We have been praying constantly that God would heal Leila. Have you? Don't stop praying because that's when we start losing the battle. A couple of relatively good days quickly turns into another nightmare.

We are facing what is possibly another few bad days ahead. Leila hasn't been doing well today. Doctor's seem to think infection AGAIN. The doctors don't know anything. Her breathing hasn't been ideal the past two days. She was clearly in pain today but nobody knows what from. I hate seeing her writhe in pain.  It makes for a not-so-happy birthday.

Let's review the list of miracles that are on the "doctor's-dont-have-a-clue-and-God-needs-to-fix-list"
1) brain ventricles not improving
2) heart murmur not improving
3) going to wait 4 to 6 weeks from when she got sick before doing anything on intestines
4) more infection
5) two black toes
6) breathing not good past couple of days

Mom and kids made these for me today

Leila's birthday wishes to me. A little bright spot in a worrisome day.

Yesterday Logan was looking around.

Another hair bow. Hope she starts feeling better.

  1. I keep you all in my prayers every day, especially Leila and Logan. They are little fighters. Its good to see the improvement in Logan and I pray hard that soon Leila will be doing as well as her brother. Hang in there and know that I'm here if you need me for anything. Love you!
